EOR's Mailbag

Back in October, EoR blogged about the Scientific Consciousness Interface Operation system, a marvellous scientific (you know it is because it's right there in the name) machine that claims to balance subtle energies. He's now received an appreciative email about this matter:

How about you get educated a bit before you go off on a non-sensical rampage about nothing?

Why don't you give me your full name, DOB and place of birth and we shall see how much the SCIO doesn't know about you.

EoR's full name is EoR. His date of birth (manufacture, actually) is not known, but his first appearance is documented on 25th December, 1921. How does that affect the SCIO machine? Is it some sort of astrological computer? Won't it work without knowing all those details? And why does it need to know all that in order to state what it doesn't know about him?

Also, you can't say the SCIO hasn't been shown to improve a list of diseases without a citation of your reference, when in fact, I have hundreds of citations on my site to elucidate the opposite.

Why should EoR give citations that something doesn't work? EoR doesn't believe that fairy dust cures anything, even though there are no papers or studies about it to his knowledge. Unfortunately, when EoR visited your website, all of the links were incorrectly coded and nonfunctioning. Nonetheless, undaunted, EoR decided to believe you for a moment and find the proof. PubMed provides exactly zero records of anything to do with a "Scientific Consciousness Interface Operation".

EoR did locate the page on WHAT IS THE QUANTUM SCIO? though, which is full of meaningless and (yes, EoR admits it) absolutely unscientific fantasy such as:

It integrates the sciences of mathematics, quantum physics, fractal dynamics, subspace theory, electronics, and computer programming. The therapies include the following modalities: naturopathy, homeopathy, acupuncture, chiropractic, energetic medicine, psychology, aromatherapy, reflexology, colour therapy, Neuro- Linguistic Programming, biofeedback and Rife Resonator. It also incorporates knowledge of metaphysical subjects to bring a unique synergistic perspective to natural healing. [...] All aspects of our lives [physical health and illness, emotions, thoughts] operate according to the laws of quantum physics.

As well as some "scientific" stuff about chakras and past lives. Really. That last sentence about quantum physics ruling our lives would indicate that it's impossible to cross the road (you can observe where the car is, or where it's going to, but not both at the same time - this is Heisenberg's Uncertainty of Crossing the Road Principle). What about this citation: Paraphysics: Physics Misused and Misinterpreted:

Today we find physics being misused and misinterpreted in support of a wide range of paranormal and paranatural claims. In alternative medicine, we hear the terms ``energy" and ``quantum" used to suggest a scientific basis for ``energy therapies" and mind-over-matter healing.

To continue with the fan mail:

Biological speed is the speed at which the body communicates with its cells. Synaptic transmission is one type of biological speed. It is best to educate oneself in the human body and mind before negating a truly amazing therapy which has seen hundreds of patients immensely improve.

Every cell, tissue and organ vibrates at a specific frequency in our bodies- by determining our electro-physiological reactance to a host of these frequencies- we can determine what is going on in the body. You doubt the efficacy of the EMG and ECG? These use the exact same principles as the SCIO- only in a smaller scale.

The diagnostic functioning of ECGs and EMGs are well understood. They do not treat or cure illnesses, they are not "efficacious", nor do they rely on: quantum physics, fractal dynamics, subspace theory, naturopathy, homeopathy, acupuncture, chiropractic, energetic medicine, psychology, aromatherapy, reflexology, colour therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, biofeedback, Rife Resonance, chakras or past lives. Nor do they require a patient's full name, date of birth and place of birth before they will work. EoR doesn't see the relevance of claiming that because diagnostic equipment works, ergo magic does as well.

Rife, by the way, was a quack.

One of the few working links at Quantum Wellness goes to the Biopro Technology site, where you can buy things such as the QLink Pendant (only $AU398!). Yes, the QLink Pendant. The QLink Pendant!

Let me know if you have any more question about this therapy and I look to receiving your information soon.

Regards,

Dr. Damato

Dr? Not a registered medical practitioner. Maybe a "Dr" of something else, but EoR hasn't enough information to find any papers published by Dr Damato (there are other Doctors Damato, but not necessarily this Dr Damato).

"Harmonising Australia through Energy"

Now, if EoR was of the paranoid conspiracy theory ilk, he'd see that slogan as a subtle sign of Satan's coming Armageddon engineered by the promotion of occult "energy" therapies. Take a closer look: "Harmonising Australia through Energy". Harmonising. Australia. through. Energy. H.A.t.E.

Can that just be coincidence? When we're all linked in a quantum vibrational consciousness sort of way?
