The alties hate pharmaceutical company funding of research. They argue that it taints the research, that the funding means only "approved" results are sought for, and only suitable studies are published.
How do they react then, when it's revealed that Dr Andrew Wakefield and his team received £14,053,856 (plus VAT) to "prove" that the MMR vaccine caused autism?
